i hope i wake up when this dream is over
and once i was afraid of growin older
and i believed all those stories and they made me a bit bo(u)lder
but somethings been heavin on me over n over

i went for a ride on a giants shoulders
and i defined all the seashells i found in my own terms
but now i'm on my back watching my own thoughts
hopin they won't betray me

i better slow down now if i want grey hair
and i've decided to that misfortune which path i prefer
but at least i'll skip that snake or the poisoned apple
and betrayal derailed us just east of eden

i wanna stand on the western ledge
the dividing line, the ocean's edge
somewhere close to the center
from where i can reenter
